My name is Michael Herbst and I was born in 1993 in Bavaria (southern Germany). As long I can think I've always been interested in scientific topics. After my high school graduation in 2011 I completed one year of federal volunteer service. Meanwhile I decided to continue my education with the study of molecular and technical medicine (MTZ) at the renowned Hochschule Furtwangen University (HFU). In 2013 I decided to move to the study of Molecular Medicine at the University of Regensburg to benefit from the promising combination of scientific disciplines with the excellent medical teachings as well as to open up the possibility to deepen my knowledge within the newly established Master of Science program. After completion of my Master thesis in 2019 (title: Alloantigen-specific regulatory T cells in GvHD-prophylaxis) I am currently looking for a suitable PhD position. I am highly motivated and would be very pleased if I aroused your interest in me.
